Claire Webber is a professional stand-up comedian in Seattle, Washington. Her comedy stems from living with an autoimmune disorder and experiences working as a surgical tech and phlebotomist. "My therapist has a lot to say about that!" she said. In 2016, Claire had ileostomy surgery because of Crohn’s disease and she's made it the punch line of her jokes ever since.
For nearly a decade, Claire has been pushing the boundaries of humor. In her one-woman show titled "That Nasty Body," she takes her audience through the ins and outs of living with an ostomy and chronic illness. In her own words: “It's comedy and burlesque about life after large intestine."
Here are some of the funniest things Claire said about living with an ostomy on Twitter.
Claire is a club regular at Kremwerk. You can also catch her performing at The Pocket Theater and Laughs Comedy Club.
