Hello and welcome.

OstomyConnection began with a question. What if there was a collective website for ostomates? One convenient place where everyone can stay connected to news, stories and happenings in the ostomy community. Which led to wanting to do something significant for some very special “mates”… which led to meeting a team of extremely talented, creative and just plain nice people who make the whole thing work.

Since its inception until today, this site always intended to be much more than an online publication. Founder and ostomate, Christine Kim describes it as “a hub for ostomates,” setting the standard from day one with cutting-edge website design, powerful graphics, and creative articles by some of the most talented writers in the ostomy community.

We’re bringing together leaders in the industry, health and wellness experts, doctors, nurses, and advocates so you can have access to the most in-the-know content. People from around the world are sharing firsthand experiences living with an ostomy, because learning from others can be the best source of help.

We understand there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to living with an ostomy, after all, you know best what works for you. But when you’re in an exclusive club like ours, staying connected is important and that’s why we’re here for you. On OC, the ever-evolving intent is to help ostomates stay connected to stories and topics that affect our daily lives.

We're connecting everything ostomy into one convenient place — a hub for ostomates!
